Since I've Already Admitted to Being a Liberal Who Likes Mark Steyn….

…I have to say I haven’t seen anyone capture the state of things regarding the world and the Jews better than this. But then, I’m a pessimist. Anyone out there find reason for optimism?

  1. No.

  2. “No.”

I also see little reason to be optimistic. There are two major reason for my state of mind:

1.) Barack Obama desires, if not outright demands, that the Jews of Israel jeopardize their safety on behalf of his utopian wishful thinking.
2.) Far too many Jews and other Westerners want to go along with this ultimately suicidal mindset.

  3. You mean, not even the fact that Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, whom you admire and respect so much, has become President of the United States, is enough to generate a hint of optimism within you regarding the situation Mark Steyn has written about so trenchantly here and now?

  4. “You mean, not even the fact that Barack Hussein Obama…”

Many people have too much invested in the notion that Barack Obama is wise and wonderful—and can provide absolution to guilt-tripped whites. Objectively analyzing his words and actions is even deemed racist. They will do virtually anything to run from reality. At this point in time, these individuals contend that Obama is getting poor advice from his close associates. He will therefore advocate saner polices once he learns the truth.

  5. I keep hoping that the David Thomson who posts reactionary stuff here whose book “America in the Dark” I keep by my toilet is THAT David Thomson. (Memo to David: I’ve given away your thousand films book as birhday presenst but find it a little facile and am reluctant to read the new Borstal Boy pastiche lest it not measure up to the debut chapter of “AintheD”. Anyway, Barack, Chicago and the Chosen: Hyde Park is an alternative U of Chicago, born of the ironic remark that “philosemitism is the highest form of antisemitism”. The philosophical problem of Judaism, since the creation of Israel, is “can you trust your friends?”, to which the answer is always, “No”, and “No,” because the friends of the Jews sense their weakness and play on it. “Sensing weakness” is what they do in Kenya and what Obama does best. The only answer is, as unpalatable as it may seen, for Israel to ATTACK! And I am a pacifist

  6. “Many people have too much invested in the notion that Barack Obama is wise and wonderful-”

I was hoping to prompt some awareness in RR that his champion, his idol, one of the most powerful men on earth, Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, the president of the United States, is courting the very circles of worldwide Jew-hatred that are the cause of RR’s despair.

  7. “I keep hoping that the David Thomson who posts reactionary stuff…”

That other David Thomson is a phony. I should sue him for living off my name and fame. He is a true scum bag. I refuse to see any movies that this British fraudster favorably reviews.

“…since the creation of Israel, is “can you trust your friends?”

Pragmatic politics is always about answering the pertinent question: what have you done for me recently? Ron Radosh’s new book concerns Harry Truman’s support for Israel—when this was very politically risky. But that was 61 years ago! It has zilch to do with the present Obama administration.

  8. For all you philosemites out there, check out the photo of Bernie Madoff’s huge schlong (behind grey sweatpants) in the new “Vanity Fair”. No wonder the Palm Beachers gave him their dough!!
